Singer. music producer, motivator and “reality checker” Samiranks creates versatility with songs everyone can enjoy. You never know what will be his next move, because his creative demeanor and energy, brings a vibe that allows you to stop and listen or just move your body to the beat he spits his lyrics to.
Born Samuel Byam on December 19th, in St Johns, Antigua, he fell in love with music at the age of nine.  Although his parents wouldn’t allow him to go to the clubs or to the village festivals, Samiranks always found a way to get the cassettes and CDs to understand the latest in music overall. He often listened to dancehall classics like Capleton, Buju Banton, Beenie Man and Bounty Killa. He has never been biased with the music, because he believed everyone had a story to tell.

Since he had the opportunity to listen the different style of music, he came to the conclusion that’s how he would love to deliver his message, through the music.

Over the years, Samiranks faced many challenges as an artist, from working with different labels in New York City to Los Angeles, where he left everything behind in Antigua to pursue his dream.  It wasn’t too long before he started recording in studios like Paramount in Hollywood California, which gave him the leverage to pursue further.

After several years Samiranks decided to “put down” the music, but wasn’t too long before he heard some rappers out of Huntsville Alabama, which then brought him back to what he loved. He recorded several tracks with the group Slow Motion Sounds. Songs like Move Your Body, Gangster Anthem and Gun Shot, a song that placed him on the local maps as the “reggae artist that DJ” with a hip hop style.
Samiranks then continued his journey and recorded many songs on his own, to include producer Byron Murray from In The Streets Records, a song call “Devil Pickney” on the Devil’s Pickney Album.  He took the title song for the riddim, which landed him opportunity to do shows with artist like Beenie Man, Tanto Metro and Devonte and Mr. Vegas.

Recently, Samiranks began producing songs on his  label, Samiranks Music, LLC.  His first compilation album called Truth Be Told, included artist such as Laden, Chino McGregor, G-Whizz, Dee Dré and Jahfrican. He then released three singles in 2020, Last Night, featuring Fiona, Never Give Up and Mi Tyad also on his self-named label.

Samiranks has shown that he is unstoppable, despite his setbacks, and continued to work with many producers. Samiranks wanted to show the world how great life is by creating an old school dancehall vibe that will keep you on your feet, album called “Body Good Riddim.”
